Your account, your choice
Driving Pal – Account and Data Deletion
Delete your account in the app, or request help when you cannot access it.
Delete inside the app
- Sign in to Driving Pal on your Android device.
- On the main dashboard, scroll to Delete account below the app-language section. If your account is blocked, the Delete account option is also available on the blocked-account screen.
- Tap Delete account, review the confirmation, and tap Continue.
- Enter your account password to reauthenticate, then tap Permanently delete.
The app contacts the authenticated deletion service. Once server deletion succeeds, it clears the selected local account data and returns to sign-in. If deletion fails, the app shows an error and does not perform that local cleanup.
Request deletion without the app
If you cannot use the in-app flow, send an account-and-data deletion request to Driving Pal support, preferably from the email address associated with your account:
Support may ask you to verify control of the relevant account or email address before processing the request. Do not send your password, Firebase UID, device identifier, authentication token, or other secrets.
What is deleted
The account deletion process covers your Firebase Authentication account, your Driving Pal server-side user/account record, and associated usage logs, application events, and diagnostic/error logs. These include data linked to the account in users/{uid}, usageLogs, events, and errorLogs.
Data on your device
Recorded routes and some student or lesson information may be stored locally rather than in the server account. The in-app deletion flow clears locally saved routes and selected local account data after server deletion succeeds. If data remains on a device, you can clear Driving Pal app storage or uninstall the app, as applicable. An external support request cannot directly erase data on a device you control.
Limited retention
Limited information may be retained only where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or legitimate compliance purposes. We do not promise one fixed deletion or retention period for every circumstance. For more detail about data processing, read the Privacy Policy.
